Despite a solid lead, early intrigue, and late action, this felt like a misfire by the end. catherine T Confused as to what this movie was about after watching. No subtitles didn't help me as I couldn't make out all the spoken words. I still don't know, hence this review may seem strange to those with more understanding of what the movie was about. I didn't understand what "reconditioning" was and wondered if she was a robot?? Wondered how she alone had special abilities?? The movie doesn't explain much. I didn't understand why the two characters didn't show more alarm about being confined in a strange room or try harder to escape or question who was doing this to them and who was setting things up in the room as they blacked out or what the chip was in her head?? Or basically show more fear, shock and desperation instead of dutifully eating the green goop left for them. Her constant tiredness became silly. I wondered why she didn't attempt to bust out of the room using her powers or shoot at the box filled with sand to rescue her husband or shed a tear when he died. The acting wasn't convincing. I didn't fully identify with the characters. The plot was painfully slow until she escapes the room. It makes no sense that she couldn't save her husband when she's able to kill all the shooters. It was sad as there's no happy ending or chance for the main character to see her daughter but to be stuck in a loop. I wouldn't watch a sequel nor watch the movie again nor recommend the movie. I felt boredom and frustration and confusion until she left the room then it was interesting but the ending was predictable and depressing when she repeats the beginning scene. I love sci fi but this movie was dismal and I wish I hadn't watched it. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/24 Full Review Tom A Just a very bad copy of Scarlet Witch. Very cheap. Maximum 3 different Scenes. Very slow, it makes me angry. Music almost only the same. Athmosperic music the whole movie makes me even more angry. Unrealistic and its also no art. Has an "it was just a dream" ending. Bad storyline dont watch. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Vincent M Just as bad as expected. They tried. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Will F It was ok, but Eileen as a character, just gross. What's with the man hating in all these movies these days. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Good thriller for the budget on a diet while scratching your head when you can only hire 2 actors. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Darius D Fairly boring. Characters - no depth. Outcome - predictable.
